"Just like Home"
We just returned from our second trip to Ireland and spent our night
in Kinsale at the Landfall House. We have stayed at 10 different
B&B's in Ireland, and I can honestly say that this is the best by
far. I booked with her over the internet based on previous Trip
Advisor reviews and was not disappointed.
Most B&B's offer the basics, but Landfall House has the extra
touches that make you feel entirely at home....beautifully
decorated, spacious bedrooms, comfortable beds, tea and coffee in
the room, alarm clocks, good TV reception and channel choices (a
rarity in most B&B's) and bathrooms with space to put your stuff!
Margo is a delight to talk with and her delicious breakfast sent us
out to Old Head Golf Course well fortified. We will definitely stay
with her again on our next trip through Kinsale.
"Super Nice!"
We had the good fortune of staying with Margo and her family on our
first visit to Ireland. We could not have been more pleased with our
choice. The home is located in a residential neighborhood a minute
or two from the center city of Kinsale on a quiet street overlooking
the beautiful Bay of Kinsale. The home is well maintained and has a
beautiful patio and garden overlooking the Bay. Our triple room was
large, comfortable, beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean. For
our made-to-order breakfast, there was a wide selection to choose
from, all the way from crepes to the traditional Irish breakfast,
and it was highlighted by freshly baked pastries and bread still
warm from the oven. On top of all that, Margo could not have been
friendlier or more charming. We highly recommend Landfall House to
anyone looking for accommodations in the Kinsale area.
