Landfall House B&B is located in a quiet area and offers true
comfort and a warm welcome, with panoramic views over the river
Bandon, Atlantic ocean, Kinsale harbour and Kinsale town.
Landfall house is a family run bed and breakfast,
you and your family our assured of a warm welcome and a great
holiday should you decide to stay with us. Landfall
house is decorated and furnished to a very high standard with our
guests comfort in mind, our bedrooms are exceptionally spacious
with tv, tea and coffee facilities, hairdryers and radio alarm
clocks in all bedrooms, all our ensuite with power showers. We
offer an extensive breakfast menu. we are recommended by many
guides.
Our home is situated only 3 minutes drive to the town centre or a
10 min stroll.

Kinsale itself is a delight to explore with its
narrow winding streets filled with interesting places to shop and
many restaurants with delightful menus which have made Kinsale
"the gourmet capital of Ireland" there are also a lot of
choices in pubs that serve bar food of the highest quality with
music and entertainment in most pubs during the year.
Kinsale is steeped in a fishing tradition with one of the most
beautiful harbours in Ireland, a boat trip or boat hire &
fishing can be arranged at the local pier.
Our town is historically very significant in the
history of Ireland, and the " battle of Kinsale" in
1601, had a major influence on Irish history for century's, there
are many links with former times still to be seen in Kinsale with
"Charles fort and James fort" overlooking the harbour
well worth a visit.
There are three golf courses in the Kinsale area,
very picturesque 9 hole course, a testing long 18 hole course, and
the unequalled for scenery "old head golf course" which
is on the peninsula, right out on the Atlantic ocean and has been
compared to "pebble beach" in America, tee times can be
arranged in advance by us.
For scenic walks, horse riding, water sports,
Kinsale is a must to visit and is also an ideal base to tour and
enjoy the beauty of cork county.
